I have been a hairstylist for many years so this isn't my first time experiencing a medical massage, but I will tell you it's the best one ever! Rosalie also gives you instructions to go home to help you get the most out of your treatment (truly shows she cares). Rosalie has been instrumental in my surgical recovery. I experienced balance issues and a fogginess from the anesthetic and pain medications. The massage therapy Rosalie provided worked those substances out of my tissues and there has been improvement in my balance and mental status. Her massage technique has helped to relieve scarring, muscle tightness/tension, and range of motion issues. She has taught me stretching techniques and exercises that I can do on my own at home to enhance my recovery and improve my overall health. The environment she provides during massage is soothing and relaxing. She listens. She is caring and encouraging. Rosalie is a native to the area and she makes a point to share information on the many places nearby that are appropriate to get outside and get some exercise, markets for the best produce and meats, and other opportunities for rehabilitation with yoga or fitness classes. Physicians and surgeons can’t always know how each patient will respond to surgery and an average physical therapist may not have the knowledge to provide the best rehabilitation opportunity.
