Avenue at Macedonia Care and Rehabilitation Center

I came here to volunteer for a community event a few weeks ago, and the facility is top notch. It looks like a hotel; up to date and clean. You get the idea in your head of a nursing home looking like drab, not this place. It was even more obvious the staff members care about their residents through the time and dedication put into the event I attended. The staff was dancing to oldies along with the residents and taking photo booth pictures. Seemed to me everyone had a great time, lots of smiles and wheelchairs spinning on the dance floor. I will be back to volunteer!

My loved one has been at this facility for roughly 6 months. Prior to becoming a resident at the avenue of Macedonia, she was at another facility and let me just tell you this experience has changed my prospective of a long term care facility for the better. The staff has went to the moon and back for my mother, especially the dietary staff. The facility is always sparkling clean and the management is very prompt. Highly recommend!!!!

Stopped in to take a tour for a family member this weekend, and staff were very attentive and responsive. I did not have an appointment, so I was surprised to see a member of management stop what they were doing to assist me. The facility is stunning and looks like a hotel. The rooms were spacious, and the residents looked happy. Would definitely recommend stopping in to see this place if you are looking for a place for a loved one!

The Avenue at Macedonia is a very special place for top of the line nursing as well as rehabilitation.The experience I've had since I've been here is by far a 5 star rating, I mean the staff the cleanliness, they are on point and very professional

I am an entertainer and I regularly perform at nursing homes and retirement communities in Stark, Summit and Portage counties. The Avenue at Macedonia is one of my favorite places to perform. The head administrator (Gina) and the activities director (Heather) are awesome. You can see how much they care by watching them interact with the residents and their families. Everyone that I've been in contact with there are always helpful and courteous. The Avenue at Macedonia sets the bar in my opinion concerning not only the facility itself but also the amazing staff members.
