I see a lot of great reviews, but I need to know if this place is good for competiton, its been a dream of mines to be a professional fighter and have a career in mma. I have ADD and getting back treatment. I have skills I really need to know if this place is good for competition?
My family of 5 have been taking class at Akron Martial Arts for over 5 years. We have made many close friends and are proud to call ourselves part of this family! The life skills and self defense training is a life long practice that my kids can take with them through life!
My daughter is loving her training at AMA. They learn at lot in a fun atmosphere. Both the instructors and students enjoy these classes, that what makes it so much fun! If your looking for something that will teach your kids accountability, working hard, and having fun at the same time then come to AMA!!!
WE (my husband and I) are very happy with the training and discipline, our daughter gets from all the instructors at AMA.
We have been coming since she was in kindergarten and love the confidence she has as a young lady she is only 9 but carries herself like and older child.
As a mother I worry about her being alone, but I know that if push came to shove she would be able to defend herself with all the knowledge she has learned from being a team member at AMA.
She just received her first Black Belt this year and we are excited for her next level, the Leadership program. What an awesome program to offer, to be able to have your child gain more confidence in public speaking and training. She is very excited to start this training as she wants to be able to go into the younger classes and help them advance on their way too.
Her schooling is awesome as she has been able to maintain mostly all A's with 2 B's throughout the school year. We are still working on her attention issues but they are not nearly as bad as they used to be.
I HIGHLY recommend AMA to anyone!!! Please come try it out they are very generous with trying out before committing. I liked that too
Great instructors, and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for martial arts classes, adults or children.
