(September 29, 2021, 5:17 pm)Kent State University airport is a busy non-towered general aviation field with good airport infrastructure and pilot friendly airspace. Fuel and parking is readily available but there is no courtesy car. It is somewhat unusual in that there is no conventional FBO. The airport is set up primarily for university student pilot instruction. The facility feels more like a student gathering place than an FBO

(January 11, 2020, 2:43 pm)Live near the airport and love watching and hearing the planes practice over head. Occasionally they route directly over our house and I can see them up close. They quietly coast when close to the homes. Peak season, it's fun to go out by the road and watch them take off and land.
