McCarthy Park

This is a nice neighborhood park that has a basketball court,playground, shelter house, restrooms and a multipurpose path that goes through it. Parking area is small.

it was okay. the playground down the giant hill in front of the parking lot was very run down. the more accessible one looks decent. there's a nice makeshift trail to follow and a good wooded area to explore.

This park is absolutely beautiful!! It's also connected to the Marysville Estates Mobile Home Community where my mom lives so it's super easy to access the walking trail from there! I love how convinent this park is as well as the family friendly atmosphere! The walking trail is absolutely gorgeous and offers so many photo opportunities!!

I liked the park. I agree that it's nice and quiet. Unfortunately there is a fairly deep, muddy creek behind the park without a guard rail. So bringing small children could be hazardous. They do have some nice play equipment. Be sure to bring enough adults to supervise if you take kids here.

Clean place. Has small play area for kids, slide and climbing items. The grass is kept up. Trees everywhere. Walking paths that consist of grass, dirt, through wooded areas, gravel and paved. The creek that runs through it has fish. It has a shelter, picnic tables, and a place to grill out. Fish close enough to touch.
