Susan Shaw Flute

Mrs Shaw was my first flute teacher, and boy did I hit gold. The few years she taught me I improved so much, and I can only thank her incredible patience, talent, kindness, and years of experience. I am so grateful for the passion and love for the flute she has because it sparked such passion in me as well.

Susan has really been a great place for my child to begin learning to play the flute. My child has made steady progress since the first lesson, and I am really glad Susan is her instructor!

Susan has been instructing my daughter for 18 months. In this time I have seen my daughter's skills increase dramatically and her love of the flute deepen. Susan is caring and patient. We are so lucky we found her! Highly recommended.

After almost 15 years I decided to return to my instrument and Susan is helping a lot to return and improve my skills. From sound quality, technique, posture and breathing she has been patiently correcting me and taking me up to speed again. As you talk and hear Susan becomes clear her competency and quality that she easily transmit to your students with no pressure and very nicely, always respecting your limitations and providing guidance to the next step. I am so glad that I found someone like Susan to teach me!
