Wood County Hospital

My husband and I had a great first time experience in labor and delivery. The doctors and nurses were wonderful. Anything we needed they made sure we had. We were very much comfortable and our stay was in and out! We were eager to get home to spend alone time with our new addition.

I was here recently for some different things related to my blood pressure, anxiety, and other issues. Everyone was helpful and respectful starting from the paramedics to the nurses and the doctors. I was very nervous and anxious in the ambulance but after getting to the hospital and getting set up I felt much more reassured. I don't remember all their names but Travis, Dr. Craig, and the others were all very good at their jobs and helped me feel comfortable.

Wood County Hospital is a great place to go for you or your loved ones. The diagnostic procedures are up to date. The doctors that are in/or associated with the hospital are very knowledgeable. New ones seem to join the hospital system all of the time. It continues to grow. The ER staff is awesome. For a county hospital system, you cannot get any better.

Angela in the Radiology department was out of this world! She was kind and very professional. She did a wonderful job explaining what to expect in my procedure and walked me through it with patience and grace. She was incredible! My first visit to this location was wonderful. If I need more procedures with the radiology department I will come here. I will also be recommending it to friends and family.

I had my first baby here two weeks ago and the birthing center nurses are absolutely phenomenal. I was in great hands throughout labor/delivery and felt safe and cared for. We were kept totally informed with check ins with my OB and the pediatrician. I’m really thankful to have given birth here!
