Pure Barre

I just did a foundations class. Because of the snow storm my class was delayed, but the staff was awesome about communicating and rescheduling. The class was amazing! Definitely a hardcore workout, but easily accessible to someone like me who is 100 pounds overweight. The instructor was great at helping me modify certain things. I expected a hardcore sales pitch, but they were very friendly and not at all pushy. It’s not cheap, but it is definitely worth it. I can’t wait to come back!

There’s so many great things I can say not only about Pure Barre itself but about this particular studio. I’ve been going here now for about 6/7 months. A friend recommended me to try a class out as part of my recovery from a surgery. It was extra challenging for me at first. I was a competitive athlete before my surgery and I had extra complications with my surgery. So starting out everything was a struggle. However, I can definitely say that Pure Barre has been a huge help in my recovery. There’s things that I couldn’t do six months ago that I can do now that I contribute to the exercises and the routine.

I guess you could call me bias since this is the only Pure Barre studio I have been to but I haven’t had a reason to want to check another one out. All the women are very friendly, uplifting, and real. I love the beautiful atmosphere and the energy they all bring. Pure Barre studios have three different styles of classes. The way I would describe them is a classic ballet style work out (classic), a cardio focused workout (empower), and a resistance intense workout (reform my fav!) Support a local business with wonder ladies while getting fit! It’s like an adult sorority and fitness is your philanthropy!

Also through all the quarantine craziness they partnered with all the other Pure Barre studios in Oklahoma (which are independently owned) and did classes via FB live.

The ladies here are superb! Was fortunate to project manage the remodel of their studio and am amazed with their warm pleasant and energetic attitude and love for what they do! Looking forward to starting a class, be gentle with me Maddie and Ashley! 😉

Pure Barre Norman is AMAZING! The owners, management and staff are truly phenomenal!

For those who are not familiar::::Pure Barre is a full body workout that combines elements of Pilates, Dance, Yoga and Resistance Training. Each class is organized and choreographed to upbeat music. The goal is to work each muscle group to the point of fatigue and shaking by performing small, focused isometric movements. Each section of classed is followed by specific stretches that will elongate the muscles while they are warm, creating a long, lean physique.

Pure Barre empowers and strengthens the mind and body in a way like no other fitness routine I have ever practiced. Each Pure Barre studio is a FAMILY and the community of BEAUTIFUL women that you suddenly find yourself a part of is extremely inspirational. At Pure Barre goals are created, achieved and celebrated TOGETHER and there is no greater feeling that that!

Love this place & the atmosphere. It is such a great workout and all the instructors are so encouraging and welcoming. The first day you step foot in the building, they make it a point to cal you by name and remember you! You will become addicted to Pure Barre & I recommend it to everyone!
