Dr. Cochran was my dads surgeon. It was 3 years ago, but my dad was in excruciating pain and could barely get out of bed, let alone enjoy his life. He saw Dr. Cochran and after healing from surgery his pain was completely gone. We are forever grateful.
Dr Cochran is an amazing doctor. I worked with him for years and never heard a bad thing from his patients. They all did amazing! Now as his patient, I would have to agree. He listens, is very laid back and easy to talk to. Most neurosurgeons are a nightmare to staff but put on a nice face when talking to their patients. Not Dr Cochran, he was a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to interact with as his patient. Veronica is wonderful as well, very serious in her care for their patients and wanting them to receive care complication free.
Dr. Cochran did surgery on my husband a year ago on an emergency basis when my husband's cervical spine was compressed. He couldn't feel his legs. When he woke from surgery he had feeling in his legs, feet and the tingling sensation was gone. Fast forward to now. I have been having back problems for years and had a laminectomy in 1995. I recently had thoracic/lumbar MRI's and there is extensive damage. There is no other surgeon that I will let touch me other than Dr. Cochran. I am looking forward to seeing him and having him help me straighten up and become painfree. Little did we know that a year ago, when Dr. Cochran was the surgeon on call, how blessed our family would be.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cochran's since 2013 when he took a chance on doing a spinal fusion on me when I weighed over 400lbs. He did an excellent job. Although it took about a year to recover because of the extensive work he did and my weight. I did recover and was great for 5 years until my the discs above deteriorated and he had to do a revision in 2018 and went from t10 to my SI joints. I had lost 200lbs at that point and recovery was so much easier and faster. I then broke a rod(didn't know that was possible but....yep! ). He then did surgery to fix that in December of 2020. Through no fault of his own the extensive nerve damaged caused by the innitial herniated disc, I am always in pain and that cannot be changed. Through everything that we've been through he has always been kind and caring towards me. He is an amazing surgeon who honestly cares about his patients. I've seen other reviews on here that complain about long wait times. Well maybe they should consider that he is the best and the best is well worth the wait!
Dr Cochran had my 1st appointment via television. Had the MRI info in front of him. Knew what I was feeling and made it happen Thursday. I feel he did what he promised when he said "I can fix you " few negatives at hospital but Dr Cochran, you're the man if this holds to where I am now. Thanks for taking the time to help me. Would recommend you all day long.
