Crest Foods

I like this Crest Foods location because in my opinion it rates at least above average in the things I look for in a grocery store. First, from the front sidewalk to the employees, I look at overall cleanliness. Next, the quality of its produce and meats. Third, availability and quality of products I shop for. Though being pretty much a cheap bas..., uh, date, I would like to see more off or store brands. However, their pricing on name brands is competitive. Fourth, very high on my list of importance, is the ease in finding a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable employee, or at least one that admits, "I don't know, let me find out." Finally, more than one friendly cashier.

I love this place!! Always nice and clean. They employees are always helpful and cheerful. The Deli has different means for each day of the week but my favs are the Ribs on Wed & Sat and the fried CATFISH on Fridays. The catfish is always fresh and it's best at the on 23rd and Meridian.

I love this store. I don't come often but when I do, I score great deals and nifty things. It's always been neat and clean and the staff are always friendly.
Today I little bites muffins in pumpkin 🎃 flavor and crumb cake. I've never seen these before. I also got some some pumpkins and gourds for my fall decorating. We also found some scary sweet treats in the bakery. 🎂 🍪
I also got a mini pecan tart that I scarfed down before I remembered to take a picture. It was as beautiful as it was delicious.

Great selection. Very clean and neat store and open late at night when others are closed. Prices can vary so shop smart (one product I usually buy when shopping is $9 at WM but here it's $12 for the EXACT SAME PRODUCT weight, packaging, everything) bakery is KILLER too.
