(April 21, 2019, 11:55 am)I had a car that I wanted to trade in, so I went to the dealership where I originally purchased it. They had sent me an enticing letter that indicated they were willing to deal in order to get my Mazda 2 back onto their lot.
Unfortunately, when I went in, after looking at their website, and picking out the car I wanted to test drive, when they quoted me an offer, they raised the price $3000 from what I had seen on the web. Even more unfortunately, they were not willing to negotiate. Not at all. They just said "sorry, have a nice day."
SO, I went to Carmax. The sales associate who I met with was friendly and extremely helpful. He was totally willing to work with me when my first choice vehicle was out of reach, and I went home with a great car that same day!
The process was so easy, with no pressure, and no haggling. I loved it! -

(April 8, 2019, 12:27 pm)Sold a car here and was actually surprised with the offer I recieved. The process took about 2 hours on a Saturday. If you don't want the hassle of selling your car directly to someone this is a good option to have. I have found that a lot of the cars for sale here are priced higher than they should be and it doesn't seem like they spend enough time cleaning the cars to make them ready for sale. But again you're paying extra to not deal with the hassle of a normal dealership.
