The Monastery at Forest Lake

We stayed here for my husbands birthday. The house, the history, the hosts were all spectacular. We stayed in the Robert s Kerr room. We swam in the pool, lounged in the hot tub and had a great nights sleep. Very peaceful and so nice to have a nice getaway so close to home. We will definitely plan on staying again.

Quiet, relaxing, and beautiful environment! The room was comfortable and spacious. Had a great time playing pool and relaxing in the heated pool. Look forward to staying with them again.

Wonderful place! Highly recommend! Been there 3 times now. They have a hot tub, swimming pool, paddle boat, pool table, Foosball and some board games and of course the included breakfast is wonderful!

I pass this enchanting place all the time. I live down the street. I can not wait to treat myself to a couple of nights. It is dreamy and inviting. Every time I do my drive-by I see more an more charm added. Great job.

We loved the history of the property & how peaceful it was! Matt & Sharyn are fun hosts! They know the history well enough to give you a few quick history lessons & its so fun getting to do more research & seeing all the info found online about the monks/ Robert Kerr era. Landscaping/banana trees/ atmosphere, ducks/ baby geese and hot tub/pool were all favorites! In love with the Forest Park area! Will definitely return!
