Oklahoma Proton Center

After my Urologist completed my prostate biopsy and the severity of my cancer was determined, he made arrangements for my treatment at the Oklahoma Proton Center. My treatment agenda required 25 daily sessions with the Artesian Cancer treatment center at NW56th and Independence in Oklahoma City, followed by 15 daily sessions at the Oklahoma Proton Center at Memorial and Macarthur in Oklahoma City.
I was concerned from the beginning about my cost for the program, but the staff assured me that my Medicare and my AARP United Healthcare would be completely adequate. So I enrolled in the treatments.
I have been completely satisfied and extremely happy with the treatments I've received and also with the positive and caring attitude of everyone I've dealt with at Oklahoma Proton Center. We are blessed to have this wonderful treatment center in Oklahoma.

I recently completed my treatment for cancer at Oklahoma Proton Center. Every aspect of my experience there was excellent. From the medical staff to the administrative staff, they provided caring and competent service.
This is, by far, the most professional medical facility I have received care from in my lifetime. Dr. Storey was patient and explained my care in detail. His nursing staff was always available for questions. The couple of times I reached out to the nurse by phone were followed up with a phone call from the Doctor (this typically does not happen); they never made me feel like an imposition.
The radiation therapists were some of the kindest folks I have ever met. They treat each patient like they are the only patient; in forty-one treatments I never heard anything but kind words from them.
The front desk ladies were phenomenal! If I showed up in a bad mood it did not last long; they cheer you up immediately!
I can, without any reservation, recommend the Oklahoma Proton Center. I was glad when the treatment concluded but I will miss the staff. An incredibly positive experience!

This is a fantastic facility with state of the art equipment and a clinical team and doctors who really treat patients like people. I have had a number of friends get treated here and all had great outcomes and excellent quality of life after treatment. I highly recommend calling Oklahoma Proton Center before deciding on treatment options.

There are really no words to say but I only wish I could give this place more stars then 5..but my son was very happy to have procure proton to treat his cancer...thank you to the staff and Dr.Confer from the bottom of our hearts...
