Scott is great! I would tell anyone and everyone to go see him. I’ve been going to him for a few months now and my anxiety has improved tremendously. This sounds cliche, but I am a way better person now than I was when I went to my first counseling session. My experience has been nothing less than great!
I was referred to Mr. Groves by a friend and it was the best decision I ever made to just give him a chance. I had been to multiple therapists, counselours, psychiatrists and so on throughout life. None of them panned out until about three years ago when I first spoke with Mr. Groves. Usually when going to see someone new you feel akward because it's kind of hard to open up to a stranger. It feels like they are mainly interested in getting a chunk of information really quick, throwing a label on you/diagnosing you quickly then offering you ways to be medicated to "fix" you. Mr. Groves is completely different! He is easy to talk to and TRULY cares about taking the time and making the effort to heal you in any way he can. He taught me to use tools, that aren't medicating for something I don't have, and help from little to big things. He is amazing and I have reccommended many others to just talk to him once and they won't be worried about the stigma that can come with "seeing a therapist". If you need or even just want to talk to someone, Mr. Groves is the man to see. It was about 40 minutes each way for me to see him in his office and it was one of the happiest, quickest drives I've ever made.
To keep this nice and short and not bore anyone with a whole bunch of life details you don't want to read - Scott Groves saved my life and I mean that literally. He is a great man and the best therapist I've ever had (and the last I ever needed). He was exceptionally dedicated, putting in more hours and more work to see to me than I could ever expect. He is an anywhere, anytime, solution if he can manage it which he strives exceptionally hard to do. His resume speaks for itself he has seen so much and saved so many. Including multiple of my brothers and sisters in the military. Everyone I have personally recommended through to Mr. Groves has given nothing but exemplary reviews. If you don't believe me - go yourself. The man will work with you to make it as easy for you as possible. Bottom line no matter what you go for, no matter what your goal is, even if you don't have a goal - Mr. Groves is a massive drive to get you there and you can tell without reasonable doubt that he is 100% real and pure for it. This is no stuffy leather couch, a fish tank and an old man with a sweater vest. As he would say : he's just a man with tools who helps you find your own way out.
Really good experience. Mr. Groves is down to earth and easy to talk to. I will definitely recommend him to others.
