(June 1, 2021, 10:20 pm)We really enjoyed the scenery and quiet; peaceful. The Army Corps of Engineers have done an amazing job in making this place a great stop. I-40 /44 can be a rough trek. Enjoy this beautiful setting and recharge for your next journey.

(October 20, 2019, 5:07 pm)The campground is small and cozy. It sits on a pointe so all of the sites have a lake view. The grounds were clean and well kept and the camp hosts were super nice and very helpful. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because of the bathrooms. There were no showers and the toilets were the hole in the ground style with no running water. Other than the bathrooms, it was excellent.

(May 26, 2019, 5:35 pm)Drove up to look around when the Arkansas River flooded. Beautiful view and seemed very clean. Would recommend a visit just for the view from the dam.
