  My daughter and I ate at The Lazy Fisherman in Bixby today for the first time. It was awesome! The food was great and the atmosphere was unique and comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

  Very nice nice little place. The fish was really tasty. The coleslaw was more like a cabbage salad with a vinaigrette instead of the type of coleslaw I'm used to eating, but it wasn't bad; just not what I expected. The green beans on the other hand were an actual disappointment. Definitely tasted straight out of the can, so I'll avoid those when I go back. Other than the green beans, it was a delightful meal. Oh, almost forgot. They have some of the most fabulous ice tea. The fish & tea are the spotlights for me.

  The food, service and drinks were perfect, genuine catfish fried to a perfect crisp, awesomly fresh brewed tea and bright flavorful lemonade. I had onion rings and they were delightful. My husband's fries were crisp outside and tender inside, and his coleslaw was freshly made with a slight tang.

  So the good and bad. The good is that the fish was cooked perfect and crispy and not soggy, the food is fresh and homemade. The bad is that the food seemed to lack seasoning but that seems like a fairly easy fix and I hope the owners see this. We had the combo fish platter and I would give it a second chance but if the seasoning issue isn't fixed I wouldn't go back. I still give it a 4 based on the home cooking and some people might like the seasoning but again, the fish was cooked perfect.
