Dr Benner saw my mother to adjust her shunt after an MRI. Although, he was not her neurosurgeon (she was seeing a neurologist) he spent more time with her than the neurologist did that was seeing her for her condition. He checked her reflexes, strengths, memory and seemed to genuinely care about her overall health. I was trying to find out why she was having such a rapid decline after an accident and he was informative but still kind to us.
