First Wesleyan Church

There are so many good things about our church. I co- teach children's Sunday School so that is one of my favorites. Lots of children's and youth activities, three different worship services so there is definitely a style for everyone and the Word of God is preached/taught in each one. I am especially enjoying the Marked series by Pastor Joe. I like the fact that First Wesleyan is a giving and serving church in many ways within the community, that we support local organizations that provide for the needs of others, and that we support our own church members that are now missionaries in foreign countries. Wonderful people and fellowship, as well.

I love First Wesleyan! My husband and I have been a part of this church for four years. I love it, first of all for Pastor Joe preaching Biblical truth every week, not a social or prosperity gospel. The music in worship is always uplifting and positive (we attend the traditional/contemporary one at 9 AM.) Pastor Loren does an outstanding job! There is something for everyone here, from babies to senior adults - growth groups, ministries, and different worship styles in the three Sunday morning services, plus a new service downtown Thursdays at noon. I have attended FWC for over 40 years. There is always great preaching with Biblical truths I can apply to my life. With all the worship styles there is something for everyone. Small groups are a great place to meet people and create bonds and support each other through prayer and acts of kindness. The church also supports many missionaries financially and mission trips also provide opportunities for members to be directly involved in missions.

I have attended First Wesleyan Church for 17 years. There are wonderful connection opportunities for all ages. My children have grown up participating in the children's programs, including the children's choir-Possibility People, Chi Alpha youth group and worship teams. There are many opportunities to serve our local community throughout the year. Our small groups are a wonderful way to connect personally with others. This church has made an incredible impact on my family, as they have come alongside my husband and I to reinforce the Christian upbringing we are teaching at home, as well as helping each of us grow in our personal relationship with God. Wonderful and lasting relationships have been built over the years. First Wesleyan Church is family!

This has been my home for over 30 years! The people make you feel welcome and the ministries are FANTASTIC! They have everything you could want from Children to Teens, Young adults to Senior adults and everything in between. Multiple styles of music and services to choose from. The donuts are good too 😜
