I have been watching online service for about year and a half here . I love this church. They sing beautiful and powerful hyms, touches-our souls.
The Pastor is a very kind , loving man. He reaches out to all his members and prays for all of us . He preaches right from the Bible, easy to understand messages.Awesome teachings !
Please come and check for yourselves how loving and wonderful these church is .Surely the presence of the Lord here .
My husband became the pastor here a little over 2 years ago and has been working hard to make necessary changes needed to glorify God through GBC. We are a small church with a family friendly feel and we try to make all who come welcome and comfortable. My husband teaches the word in the exegetical style to ensure context and meaning are interpreted correctly. We encourage conversation and more in depth learning in our Sunday school class. We hope you will stop by some Sunday and we look forward to meeting you!
I've been attending this church for a few months and really appreciate pastor Kirks preaching. Would recommend people watching the YouTube channel so you could decide for yourself. We are currently going through the book of Matthew and he is doing an excellent job.
My family and I have been going here for about 2 years or so and I cant express what a positive a wonderful church this is. Everyone is always welcoming with open arms, and even from our first time coming in, you could feel the love and community from each and every person. In times of sickness or absence you can always count on the fact that someone will reach out or greet you with excitement when you return. And of course the messages are always phenomenal, and the hymnals we sing are so powerful and encouraging. So if your on the fence, I highly encourage you to stop by, even just for one week and see for yourself. God bless!
I discovered grace Baptist a year and a half ago when returning to Oregon. It was a pivotal time in my life and I was looking for a place to worship that taught the Bible rather than simply picking random verses to support a pre-chosen topic.
It's been refreshing (to say the least) to hear the gospel preached in every message and be able to come to biblical conclusions based on scripture rather than emotion laden appeals. The certainty of knowing Christ, not just by feelings, but in knowing and believing what He says!
Lastly, my children actually enjoy coming to church and call it "our church". No small thing! I believe it's because they feel they are part of an actual community of believers and not just a room full of strangers.
