(July 29, 2023, 12:45 am)It is a great place to play disc golf among the trees. Almost every hole has some shade, so it isn't too hot in the summer. The water is near if you need a quick dip to cook off. There are benches along the way to rest up.

(July 10, 2023, 12:35 pm)What a gem!! If people aren't making the 45 minute drive from PDX to spend the day here then they are out their mind. Fishing, tubing, SUP, kayaking, disc golf, hiking, camping........ this place has it all.

(June 10, 2023, 10:24 pm)Stopped briefly at upper viewpoint area. Thought I heard traffic but no - the Clackamas River! Lovely views of both the rivers and Mount Hood. Very clean and well maintained area. Will be back!

Pit toilets, decent and clean, but rustic.
Horse trails, and people using them on horseback. Beautiful place. -

(March 6, 2023, 12:47 pm)This state park is HUGE! You can literally hike for a day. We have a baby so we only hiked for two hours. Very baby carrier friendly. We looped through the Escada trail to rivermill trail. It’s beautiful even in the winter.
