Lou's Kitchen

Lou’s Kitchen is my favorite spot in Mt. Angel! I love the homey feel and the warm welcome we receive every time we step foot in the place. The sandwiches, delicious soup, and coffee is rivaled by none. My experience here has been nothing but the best and I am so glad we found this little gem here in Mt. Angel.

We were staying in Silverton for 2 days and drove 10’ for lunch at Lou’s kitchen in Mt Angel on both days. An extremely friendly and welcoming place, with excellent food and service. We had chicken noodle soup, chili, fruit scone and peanut butter bar. Their coffee is excellent. We will certainly revisit whenever in the area.

We stopped by this morning and I got a full order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were light and fluffy, just the way I like them and the sausage gravy was amazing. The gravy had so much flavor and didn't taste overly gritty or starchy like everywhere else. Even my own Oma couldn't make it this good.

Stopped in last week to try this place out. Very impressive to say the least! Had a delicious sandwich with a cup of spot-on clam chowder. The inside is charmingly decorated and impeccably clean and the staff was as friendly and attentive as could be. The outside seating looked equally as nice and I would have probably chose that, but it was 95* that day and A/C sounded like a better choice. I will definitely be back!
