Man, we showed up at Burningsound Studio, and that's when we met Ivan. He is a class act, and will work with anyone to get the sound you are trying to create. One of the nicest people to work with. Our band,Circus Bone, was recorded at Burningsound, and we are stoked we got to record there. 5 stars for sure. If you want to record your music I definitely recommend Burningsound Studio

My 16 year old son takes drum lessons from Ivan 🥁 He thoroughly enjoys his time there, and comes out of each lesson inspired and empowered. He has learned so much, and has come so far... Ivan is an incredible instructor! I myself appreciate Ivan's nature, he is genuine, fun, supportive, and just a solid great guy!

I've been in BurningSound Studio many times and every single time it was a spectacular experience! This studio is a world class recording, mixing, mastering and production tour de force.
The proprietor of this incredible establishment is one of the nicest people you will ever meet; totally dedicated to getting as much out of your experience as you are. He also has experience with success of a hard rock band as a musician within said band to help you with your project!
All of the music I've recorded at the studio is of equal or better quality than anything you might find anywhere else in the world.

Ivan De Prume, original drummer for White Zombie, has brought his los Angeles recording studios, Burningsound Studios, to the Pacific Northwest near Salem, Oregon. He provides solitary musicians and bands of all skill levels the opportunity to learn drums, engineering, and of course, record your band's record! He is the best at what he does and is a true professional with the resume to back it up! Super chill guy, knowledgeable, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A project three guys in their 50’s who attended the same high school wanted a decent recording of some songs we had written. After some gumshoe work hunting locally operated studios, we chose Burningsound Studios.
Ivan (who is the same age and mindset as us) came through. He engineered our music to levels above a pleasant surprise. We walked out with a 13 song recording far beyond any expectations.
Ivan knows his stuff. A fine combination of experience, schooling, top shelf equipment, an aggressive professional approach yet an easy going personality made the entire venture well worth repeating.
Rates are important because time is money, but they are also subject to change. What I can say about his rates is they are definitely fair, and even lower than some we looked at. Every job is different, and the more time you need, the higher the price, naturally.
The studio itself is located in an old farm house outside of Brooks Oregon. Serene county side that you don’t need to worry about some creepy crawlers stealing your gear.

In short, would I recommend Ivan de Prume and Burningsound Studios: yes.
