A short stroll will get you through this enchanted park/wetlands. Beautiful trees line the path through ponds crossed with wooden bridges. Remnants of the old home that was purchased in 1966 can be found graffitied in the middle of the path.
Beautiful Lil slice of nature, so contained in a 6 block city park. Half is covered by water, giving a great view for watching birds, frogs, rabbits and a bunch of other critters. You don't know what's on the inside of this place until you venture in and see it yourself. It truly is beautiful.
Beautiful park with beautiful animals! Be mindful the owls are kinda rude.
One of my favorite historic sites in Portland. This one is a sleeper. But if you venture just off the road, you will see relics of the past, the way folks used to live. There is an old shootin' range set up. Complete with cans with holes in them and other targets. Also a really cool old camping toilet like a chair the pioneers who settled here would have crafted. So ornate, they don't make them like that anymore. It's realistic and looks like people are living there to this day.
