I have a toddler and a 5 year old so I really appreciate the fact that the playground and splash-pad are so close together so that I don't have to keep getting up and moving from place to place whenever one of my kids decides to change locations. I was able to lay a blanket down on the grass in the shade and stay there the whole time. Really comfortable, super laid-back atmosphere, not too many people. The park was really big... Much bigger than I expected for a small neighborhood park. The main drawback was how many bees there were on the grass with those little white flowers all over the place. Definitely not a place to be barefoot. Overall pretty clean, although I didn't use the bathroom on site, so can't speak for the overall cleanliness.
Super nice and quiet local neighborhood park. There's some good walking trails that walk through a wooded area, as well as some nice trails around a community garden that is of course beautiful in the summer months.
If you need to take a walk and you're in the area it's a nice place to relax. If you make it through the trails in the wooded area watch out for hula hoops.
Nice, clean park. Pokestops and gyms with shade.
I love this park during the summer you will see me and my sons down here playing. The water comes on in may or june. Great place to cool the kids off but u need to bring the shade yourself not much room in the shade so bring a cover( bring your own shade)... see you there this summer
This is a nice park behind Ron Russell middle School. Has a nice walking path through a stand of old Douglas firs. That's probably my favorite part of the park.
It's also a small community garden in the park. It does have some recreational features for kids.
I've never seen a very busy, but I'm sure there's a lot more people around right after school. In addition to this part, Ed Benedict Park is close by. These parks really add to the neighborhood.
