  I spent 20 years working at the Portland Waste Water Treatment plant, a complicated and sometimes very demanding facility staffed by some of the most dedicated people I have ever known. This facility works 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to meet the goals of the US Clean Water Act. These are the people and this is the place that keeps Portland livable, clean and civilized.
