Dr Ellis is amazing. Came in for the first time. Listened for the first, saw my reports and said saw I needed surgery immediately. Been dealing with this issue for 5 years and he has been the only one to listen and actually care. Surgery went great... better than expected actually! He is a life saver!
I had a very complex and unusual case. Dr. Ellis was amazing to work with. Great communicator, inspired confidence, and I am happy with the end result. Aside from being highly qualified he’s the type of guy I’d love to go out for a beer with. Down to earth warm and friendly. He repaired a torn ACL in my knee and I am back to working out every day. I would highly recommend him
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ellis’s for about 5 years. After after some bad experiences and multiple surgeries with other orthopedic doctors I found Dr. Ellis. He came recommended as one of the best in the industry, but it’s not just because of his surgical accolades. He’s easy to talk to, listens to your concerns, helps you to understand what’s happening and to provide treatment plans and recommendations that are realistic.
First impression: FIRST CLASS
First time patient, didn't know what to expect -- but the entire registration process was smooth, the directions to the clinic were clear (I really was apprehensive about driving into the parking garage in that snarl of streets and bridges and trolley tracks around the Moda Center) and it turned out to be effortless.
Receptionist helpful, friendly, discreet.
Medical assistant and X-ray tech efficient, professional, friendly.
Dr. Ellis immediately inspired confidence,
After an actual physical exam, we reviewed the X-rays, discussed his findings and laid out all the options -- in a thoroughly comprehensible and professional manner.
Finally, a very friendly and competent Physician's Assistant performed a procedure which immediately made me feel better --and now, 2 days later, I am still feeling better.
Of course, there is more -- I'm not fixed yet -- but I now have the courage and confidence to proceed.
Dr Ellis is amazing! Always kind,
always knowledgeable and always thorough in his exam and diagnostic imaging. Great communicator and listens to his patients. Excellent surgeon; my shoulder is excellent because of his repair. Knee Surgery will be in my future and I trust him completely.
