  Alisha and Nicole are phenomenal. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, I have worked with many midwives and I can honestly say that I would highly recommend them to my anyone. Their kind, gentle, and thorough approach puts you at ease. I have a rare blood type (A+, with a weak D antigen) that would shows up contradictory ( (A+ or A-) in different blood lab tests.. Nicole was dedicated to helping me navigate my blood type and helping me get the correct testing so I could finally understand what was going on with my contradicting lab results. Also, I was tachycardic for most of my third trimester and Alisha snuffed out my fears and we had a beautiful home water birth in August. They are now like close friends/sisters and I am so thankful for the opportunity to deliver with them and be a patient in their practice ?

  Our family could not have asked for better care during our pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. Alisha and Nicole provided the most magnificent support and encouragement as we journeyed to becoming new parents. As a plus sized women, I have often been told by
  healthcare providers that something is wrong with my body and I came into pregnancy anxious about my ability to safely grow and birth a baby. Alisha and Nicole not only treated my body and spirit with the utmost respect but they helped me see how strong and powerful I can be
  when I learned to love myself.

  I am so grateful for Alisha & Nicole. During prenatal and postpartum visits I always felt supported both physically and emotionally. I couldn't have asked for a better team to have by my side during labor and delivery. I felt so safe and supported throughout the entire process. It was such a beautiful experience and if we decide to have another baby we will definitely have another home birth with Alisha and Nicole.

  I had a wonderful experience with prenatal, labor, and postnatal care with Alisha and Nicole. I always felt supported, like I was in good hands, and that Alisha and Nicole were really listening to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Flourish Midwifery to anyone wanting to have their baby with a midwife.

  Alisha and Nicole were amazing companions on our family's journey to welcoming our third. I can't thank them enough for their calm and reassuring presence, constant support, and their confidence in me to trust my body and my intuition during my pregnancy and birth. I felt very safe and heard during my time with them and never felt judged or rushed. My children felt very connected to them and still continue to ask when we will see them again. They are both wonderful, compassionate midwives that anyone would be lucky to have at their birth. Best choice we ever made!
