New discovery...what a great park!! Walking trails and the dog park is Great! Will definitely be back. Sherwood does a great job with public spaces!
More fun in the summer when the water feature is on. Good area to practice baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, play frisbee, or let the kids play on the play structure. Oh there is also a dog park to. Snyder has it all.
From out of state, but will def visit this park again! Very nice and clean also had open bathrooms! Big soccer field. Doggie park was closed.
A favorite Sherwood Park. There's something here for everyone! This is a nice place to get in a short walk, especially if you live in the neighborhood. There is a covered area that's nice to get out of the rain in the winter. The multiple Sports fields and courts are very well maintained. It looks like there is a super nice Fountain and water feature at this park, but it was not operational like we due to it being winter. Keep in mind that there are multiple parking areas depending on where you can most easily access this park. Some of the parking that is available is rather limited. You may do well to find a place to park in the surrounding neighborhood if you're going at a busy time.
Snyder Park is a great local park located pretty close to downtown Sherwood.
It sits on a hill so the views are spectacular.
It has multiple sports fields and courts including a baseball field with a phenomenal artificial-turf infield.
And fantastic tennis courts sitting atop a reservoir.
There is also a fenced-in off-leash dog park with two separate sides, for small and large dogs.
There are great trails that offer a chance to get some steps in while admiring the beauty.
