Galen McBee Airport Park

This is and always has been one of my most favorite parks in Mac. It's generally a pretty peaceful place. And it is always beautiful no matter what season it is. I love that I can take my little doggo, they have poo bags available if you forgot yours at home and there's garbage cans at the parking lot. There's also picnic tables if you want to have a snack. There's not really a playground but I do know that kids love to visit the giant mushroom that you can go into like a little house :)

Super cute park! The longest loop is a mile and fairly easy. Very pretty area. It’s right next to an airport, so you’ll constantly hear planes and helicopters. Lots of cute little structures and the famous mushroom structure near the beginning. It was very muddy on the trails, so wear the right kind of shoes. There are a couple of cute bridges.

There was a sign saying to look out for 5 bunnies crossing the path. I assume they’re some kind of statue or whatnot, but we couldn’t find them 🧐 There were cute painted stones though!

What a delightful forested short hike! Trails are very muddy after recent rain; appropriate footwear recommended. Signs indicate it is currently a one-way loop, and social distancing and mask requirements appeared to be well-respected. Great vantage points for plane spotting.

This is my favorite park in all of McMinnville.
And a big shout out to whoever covered over the racist graffiti inside the mushroom.🍄

OMG THIS PARK! It’s small but mighty! It’s a great place to take your dogs and your kids! The best part is the mushroom house of course 😄 my friend and I took lots of pictures and had a great time laughing and acting like we’re kids again. Your children would have fun playing here for hours. 🍄 What a lovely and memorable place to go!
