I wish I could give this place 6 stars! We just got our first pizza from there today! We got a large tomato pie pizza (the namesake so it must be great!). It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Best pizza in Pittsburgh if you ask me!

We just moved to Wexford last week from shadyside and were worried about where to get good food because the suburbs is all chains and we hate chains. Also a running joke in our marriage is never try new pizza places because it’s always bad. So we were nervous but from the pictures I just HAD to!

The vegetables are made in the garden on site and YOU CAN TELL WOW!!! The amazing scent scents just filled the kitchen!

We ordered to go and the owner was there alone actually! Only because college students just left but he was running a one man operation for the day and still pulled it off and there were several people there for pick up!

Was ready exactly when the owner said it would be! Very very friendly guy! Super kind and patient with all my questions.

We live 4 minutes away so I am just going to forward all my paychecks to Tomato Pie Cafe because I will be there once or twice a week forever now. Don’t ever close!!! Apart from the winter of course.

I wonder if he’d let us buy tomatoes themselves because the tomatoes were out of this WORLD! I get why they call it TOMATO Pie Cafe.

Truly farm to table ingredients. Literally from their garden outside to table! DELICIOUS PIZZA!! Very friendly owner too! Very dedicated.

The move to Wexford was worth it for this place!! We are 1-2 times a week pizza people so I am THRILLED! I thought everything would be 20 mins away and get cold. This is giving us the same Shadyside pizza commute! We lucked out!!

Great place! Well kept secret also!
I sat outside in a great little patio surrounded by rose bushes and plants, very cool!
I had the chicken park and it was great, they grill it first instead of breading and frying, and the taste is so much better that way! I had a nice salad and fresh rolls on the side. I will be back to try it again.
By the way, when they say byob, they mean it, they only had water to drink! I can over look that because the food and service was great!

Love this restaurant! Especially the vegan spaghetti squash! I would recommend it to anyone! The service staff is wonderful as well!

One of our favorite local places. Food is so fresh, many items grown on site. Di pasitano pizza is always amazing. Had fresh grown tomatoes and mozzarella salad, yummy. Staff is always super nice. Highly recommend.
