Pittsburgh International Airport

This particular airport located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is one of the best air ports I have ever visited and although I haven't been to many airports in my thirty one years of life I put this one on my top 3. I flew with South West. I did notice that places to eat or shop at are closed at different times so if you're looking to grab a bite to eat maybe check the hours before your flight or plan accordingly. Very very clean bathrooms! Nice waiting areas and they have a cool subway you get to ride.

I've been here many times. Every single time it is a pleasant, easy, and stress-free experience.

Although the architecture is not as impressive as other airports, there are a lot of cool and unique elements that must be shared.

The focus on "The Steel City" is amazing throughout this airport. So many elements of Pittsburgh throughout. I can recall seeing "The Terrible Towel" peacefully waving over a statue of a Steelers player. Awesome.

The second best part is the wide variety of restaurant options and stores. It felt like I was in a mall. So cool.

The BEST part was the subway/tram experience. Quite unique. Although it may be odd for some, I'd still rather take the tram than walk its distance. Good thinking, PIT!

Flew with my parents who both have ambulatory issues. The staff were there with wheelchairs and very polite and professional with them. I can not say enough about how much I appreciate their help in a very busy airport. The staff at Delta gates and on the planes were just as helpful. Thank you so much!

We had soup at the Farm Fresh stand. The beef and veggie soup was excellent. My girl had chicken noodle. She loved it and she is soup cop! It was just the right size serving. A good place!.
