Congratulations on your restaurant! We just had take out there for the first time. It was a pleasant surprise. Cuban sandwich had a great piece of fresh ham. Nice pork and mustard. It was delicious. Also had the cuban plate, rice and beans- all home made, authentic food. Don't forget empanadas, had chicken and beef/ cheese. They were crispy and full of flavor. We had 2 drinks with takeout. I was worried they would be watered down because of travel and ice melting. They were strong and crisp. To top it off, homemade pound cake soaked with rum. Again, surprised. All really great. Awesome job on your new restaurant. It's a tough time to start a restaurant. We will let everyone know about you. I have never left a detailed review before but I appreciate you taking a risk and your hard work. It's the American way.
So glad we discovered this place. Tasty food made with natural ingredients along with a great wait staff. Go now before the secret gets out...
We got both sangria's - I liked the red much better but white wine fans would likely enjoy the white. It was not overly sweet and nicely balanced. We ordered the chicken and beef empanadas for an appetizer - both were good. I liked the cheese in the beef and the meat in the chicken. The sauce was cilantro based and not super flavorful. I got the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the Cuban. The chicken was good but not super exciting - I much preferred the Cuban, which was super delicious! Overall, would definitely come again - just a slightly fancy atmosphere that helps a date feel special!
Wow! New renovation! New flavor! New everything!
Zorros is a great find, super friendly staff, and amazing food! Highly recommend this new business! Try the Cuban!
Food is made from scratch. Owner grew up in US but self taught Dominican Republic cooking from her family. Empanadas are flaky and tender. Enjoyed chicken shredded ones with a side of plantains. Plantains were not greasy at all. They have a full bar and place gets packed later in the day. Take out service available. They also offer gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Located in the former Jose and Tony’s. Renovation nicely done. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Worth a visit!
