Reasonable community library

Awesome staff and a great selection of books. You are able to checkout the books for three weeks and renew up to 6 times unless someone has the book on hold other than that they have a bookstore as well inside that have very reasonable prices. I'm new here and this will be my go to library from now on

The librarians there are the most friendly, helpful and patient of people, who are always ready to provide information or services. It is a very welcoming library. Parking is in front, as well as at the back, of the building.

Pre-Covid, at the stairwell at back of the library, there is a small bookshelf with free books, musical scores, or other items no longer needed by the library. I have picked up some unexpected gems there. On the lower stairwell there is a take-one, contribute-one book exchange shelf, useful if you want to swap. That stairwell also has an elevator for those who needs it. Inside the library, there is an items-for-sale section such as books, DVDs, CDs, etc. for raising funds.I have picked up old, classic movies there. Cocoa is also sold there if you want a hot drink. Aside from all these, it is a well-appointed library with shelves of books, movies and music for borrowing, study rooms, study tables, a children section, a nice fireplace sitting area etc. The external items return slot is located about 10 feet to the right of main front entrance that faces the Fox Chapel road.

This is a great community library, with lots of space and a great selection! They also frequently offer classes such as calligraphy in the evenings. Great quiet space to read or study. Very spacious, and very friendly staff!
