(August 29, 2023, 10:51 pm)I grew up attending this church! Nothing but fond memories of Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the BEST Sunday School teacher EVER - Mary Lou Cogley. Such a wonderful place filled with kind, generous, loving people. All people who followed the word of God, the teachings of Jesus, and the "Golden Rule". I was even baptized there! When I was born, our Pastor Johnny L'Engle wrote a letter to be opened by me when I turned 18...wise words and kindness regarding the big world I was about to embark on, and to always trust in God and Jesus (paraphrasing - of course) The Salem community will always be a part of my life no matter how far away I may go.
