Quality Life Services - Sugar Creek

I was transferred to QLS - Sugarcreek after spending 3 weeks in a Pittsburgh hospital following a severe automobile accident which left me with the use of only my right arm. At the time they were the only facility closer to my home that had a room opening. I honestly believe that I was supposed to be HERE instead of elsewhere. The skilled nursing staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that I get the care and comfort that I need. I have also had the privilege of watching them interact with other residents with such care and compassion that it brought tears to my eyes. The administration makes it a point to know who their residents are and greets them by name. Housekeeping and maintenance work very hard to keep the facility spotless and running efficiently. Dietary provides delicious meals that are very satisfying. However, because I'm here to recover and go home, my biggest compliment goes to the occupational and physical therapy department. With knowledge, creativity and compassion, they have gently pushed and encouraged me to keep striving toward self sufficiency. They have done such a wonderful job that I am almost ready to go home after a short 2 month stay. I love the staff here and highly recommend this facility to anyone!

My parents have been residents at Quality Life Services - Sugar Creek for over six years. My mother suffers from dementia. My father had multiple health issues. The staff provides exceptional care and treats each resident with compassion, respect, support, and love. The facility is incredibly well-designed and kept immaculately clean. The various support teams keep residents actively engaged. Our family is eternally grateful we were led to Sugar Creek. Our parents' quality of life there has been wonderful.

My mom has been at Sugar Creek for close to 3 years. Visited daily prior to COVID-19 and daily since visits resumed. You see a lot when you spend that much time there. They have amazing staff at all levels. Most staff know her by name even if they don't work on the unit or are direct care staff. You see many staff members working in multiple positions to help wherever it is needed. They are great example of what team work is. If they mandate the vaccine you risk losing some pretty amazing people that take care of your loved ones. If I trust the staff to take care of my mom, I have to trust their judgement of what's best for them. I consider it respectful of their staff to allow them to make their own decisions. It is hard for a lot of businesses to find staff and I am sure Sugar Creek is no exception. If they lose quality workers over mandating the vaccine everyone loses. Especially your loved one...
