Risen Fly Fishing

Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Love all their products. They are always willing to help you with anything you need from the experienced fly fisherman to a person wanting to start. Can't say enough how awesome they are..

My 25 year old fishing waders finally started to leak....everywhere. I stopped in to Risen Fly Fishing to try and support a local fly shop (I'd never been in there before). There were several folks working there that day. Over the course of my time there I spoke to all three of them. They were all very helpful, answered all my dumb questions. I've been fly fishing longer than some of them have been alive probably, but it's not the passion for me now that it used to be. So I appreciated that they did not act like snobs. (I've had that experience many times walking into Orvis fly shops, haha). Based on their recommendations I purchased a set of waders and wading shoes from them.

In the future when I need a new fly rod I plan to visit the shop again. They told me that they would let me cast any rod that I was interested in to make sure that it felt the way I wanted it to before I bought it.

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. In fact, I've already told most of my friends and family that fish about the shop. Stop in and support a local business ran by folks that design and use the equipment they sell.

Nice fly shop, has about everything you could need for a day on the water or fly tying, staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Willing to give advice on fishing local waters. Risen is also it's own brand with fly rods and equipment bearing their name. Not a huge place but definitely worth the visit. Does not need to be big because they carry everything you need. I will return here for my fly fishing/fly tying needs

Awesome shop and a very helpful staff being I'm kind of new into fly fishing. They had everything I needed and a lot more! Even took the time to direct me towards some fish to try and land my first steelhead...Glad I made the stop in was well worth it I will definitely be going back!

Ryan is fantastic. Great selection of gear and fly tying materials. I have been to many fly shops on the west side of Pennsylvania and by far Risen has the best prices. All risen gear I have purchased is very high quality and have never had a issue. If you ever get a chance to stop in the store do it. It’s worth the stop. Definitely check out there website as well. Tight lines.
