  If you like watching hawks, falcon and eagles soar, this is the place to be. Also has beautiful trails to hike. Major migration is August thru November.

  Very cool place in the middle of nowhere. Took the difficult trail to get to the top. We had to scramble over snow and ice covered rocks. I wouldn't recommend that trail for anyone with young children or physical impairments. The view from the top is incredible. We went in mid-November. There were still some colorful leaves but we missed the peak of fall. The observers were very friendly and knowledgeable. There were still plenty of Hawks and even a few eagles making their way through. This is a must do if you are within 100 miles. Well worth the trip. Bring your binocs!

  Great place to spend a day. Views are tremendous. Park rangers very friendly and helpful. A yearly trip and never disappointed

  Absolutely beautiful place. Bring your family or even come by yourself sit and have some mental health time. Very educational lots to see. Take the day climb the mountain walk the trail sit and look at the views and watch the birds flying

  Hawk Mountain is a nice, albeit a commercialized, escape from the Philadelphia area. The main trails to various lookouts are extremely developed and were reasonably busy on the late September Saturday on which we visited. But if you get off the main trails, I suggest the River Rock trail it is much much quieter.
  
  The staff were friendly and helpful but in order to hike in the sanctuary you must pay a fee, which I'm fine with, and then wear a sticker that they give you. These stickers have a cheap adhesive which meant that we saw numerous stickers on the ground as we were hiking and picked up. The organization should work on eliminating this unnecessary waste.
