I have been a client of Chester County Training for six years. It was my first experience with a personal trainer and there was some initial hesitancy as to what lied ahead. My primary goals were to strengthen and tone my body while also increasing my endurance and losing weight. What I quickly learned was that Adam had an unwavering desire to ensure that his clients met their goals by building their confidence and recognizing that everyone requires a unique and personalized training program. I must admit that early on there were times when I considered giving up. Although Adam would provide the motivation and encouragement needed to keep me on track. After three years of working with Adam, I had lost 27 pounds, reduced my waistline and could run three miles with no hesitation. His vast knowledge of the proper nutrition combined with various forms of endurance and weight training made a difference in how I felt and looked at myself. And the benefits of my training manifested itself in other ways. Three years ago, I tore my hamstring away from the bone while running on the treadmill in my home. The recovery was extensive including surgery, six weeks in a hospital bed and two months of intense physical therapy. Through my follow-up visits to the doctor and physical therapy, I would receive comments regarding how fast I recovered from a severe injury. The therapists attributed this to my conditioning and strength training prior to my injury.
Once cleared to start training, I was back in the studio with Adam and Brooke. They coordinated a program to slowly strengthen my problem area and reinforce the upper body muscles from where I left off.
To this day, I continue to train with Adam and Brooke. The workouts can be difficult. However at the same time, they are enjoyable as Adam and Brooke make you feel at ease, as if you are working out with a friend.
I am so thankful that I took that initial step to walk into Adam's studio six years ago.

I have been training with Adam for 7 years. He is professional and knowledgeable. Adam stresses making good food choices, and has reviewed my diet, as well as selecting exercises specific to my needs. This has resulted in losing weight while getting stronger too. With Adam's encouragement and motivation, he has challenged me to become healthier and stronger even now in my mid 60s.
I highly recommend Chester County Training! I have been working out with Mark, and I have seen results! During our sessions, Mark incorporates pair exercises, boxing, and a variety of other exercises that keep me motivated throughout the entire session. And when writing my plan for the week, he incorporates a variety of workouts that I can do at home - from spin to yoga - so I never get bored. I thought the best part about having an in-home trainer would be the convenience, but I think it's Mark's ability to customize my workout and nutrition plan that has been most effective in reaching my goals.
