Steve helped me diagnose what was wrong with my fridge over the phone and told me to look at my kenmore book to make sure i had a 5 YEAR warranty on the “sealed systems” which in lamens terms is the compressor and IT WAS IN FINE PRINT! now I either just get a new fridge or have this one fixed for free and probably wont last, either way this man is the best ya cant go wrong just to call him he is very knowledgeable and helpful and honest!
Showed up same day. Narrowed down the issue to two things and fixed it. Would recommend.
Steve was stellar in this repair of our 10 year + old Whirlpool Refrigerator. We called on a Monday night after 9PM had a callback by 8am the next morning. Steve was able to locate and pickup a control board and have the refrigerator up and running the same afternoon. We saved thousands with this repair and couldn't be happier with Singletary's Appliance Services. Highly recommended!!!
The service was excellent, starting with Mrs. S. who took my call and scheduled an appointment within days. Steve was knowledgeable, fixed our washing machine on the spot (agitator issue) and charged a fair price. That was several months ago and the washer has been running like a top.I would certainly call on him again.
Steve promptly returned my call and was able to come within an hour. Based on the issue I described regarding my refrigerator he semi diagnosed the issue over the phone and gave a phone estimate of what his fees, the parts and labor would cost. The issue was exactly as he thought and the cost fell within the price range discussed.
He was very pleasant. Hate to say, but a dying breed with so many people pursuing college degrees and not trades. We all like fancy appliances but when they breakdown we aren't looking for a guy with a degree but need a reliable appliance fix it guy with a strong work ethic like Steve. I hope I won't need an appliance repair anytime soon, but if I do, I will certainly use Singletary's again.
