  I have known Grand Master Heath for almost 27 years. I have trained in the Martial Arts since 1971. I was a competitive powerlifter with records in the deadlift in the early 70's lifting 4 times my bodyweight.
  I had trained with Master Heath since 1990 but had to reduce impact on joint replacements and injuries sustained in weight training and competition. However I had seen what a great job he had done with the children and had my 7 year old daughter train under him.
  Laura was a great student but really had no dedicated physical activity. All the other perfunctory team sports pushed on kids in private school did not really give her a chance to work at her own pace and achieve based on what she did. There was lots of camaraderie in her training with her fellow students . Each supported the other's success. Most important self discipline and focus. Laura trained with master Heath from 7 to 18 plus until her studies took her out of state. She is now a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in California ...a Mom with a 1 year old girl and has a husband in the Marine Corps deployed in the Middle East. A lot of her success ...respect...focus.....self control.....stick- to- it- iveness and completing what you start has roots with Master Heath.
  "Who is your true heroes ? " Master Heath would ask. " My Mom and Dad " they would answer.

  I highly recommend Dragon Martial Arts. Master Heath is wonderful with children. My three kids have all studied under him and are now first degree black belts. They not only learn the physical skills required to advance from belt to belt, but also learn life lessons, discipline, self respect and gain confidence.
  I love the kickboxing class! It's not only an amazing workout, but a lot of fun!

  Rigorous, but excellent. Staff is some of the nicest and most determined people I know, and the journey to black belt is worth every second.

  If it wasn't Grandmaster Heath, I probably wouldn't have regained my interest in the martial arts. The way he teaches his students is one of a kind. I am privileged to learn under his instruction.

  I trained at Dragon Gym while I was in high school and advanced to a higher level by the time that I went away to college. In addition to being an outstanding form of exercise, the training also helped me to improve my discipline and situational awareness. Master Heath also takes the time to get to know each student personally which enhances the experience. I would highly recommend Dragon Gym to anyone who is seeking to improve their health, focus and discipline in the new year!
