  Good Italian hoagie. Cost about 6 bucks. Not a long wait. Drinks, gas, snacks, jerky you know the regular stuff. For a few bucks more the pizza shop Mountain Pies across Rt.40 is also great. All in what you're looking for I guess. We patronize both for lunch through the week.

  Home made cookies got a doz every day and we were in town for 3 nights.

  Very friendly locally owned gas station/eatery. They have a little bit of everything in the convenience store side and a large menu of food and ice cream to pick from on the other side. And I can't forgot to mention their famous pepperoni rolls they make themselves, literally the best I've ever had.

  By outward appearances, the place is quite modest, but the food is excellent. If I came this way again, I'd plan a pit stop here.
  Great burgers & very good apple dumplings. Driving from Pittsburgh to Md, I'd avoided stopping at too many nationally branded chain places with the usual fare. So glad I waited. The place is a lunch room + bakery + "general" store with souvenir shop and ice cream stand.
  I brought apple dumplings home for the family. Consensus opinion: well prepared, but needed another 10-15 minutes in the oven.
