Meighen RV Park

Thank you Mr Meighen for a very gracious and accommodating stay. We spent 2 days here in the beautiful hills. Not your standard RV park. We enjoyed the valleys and hills of cows and deer and horses. The attentive owner made sure we were comfortable and even made sure we new where to go for Halloween 🎃!
The people in the town of Waynesburg were very welcoming. What a gem.

While on our way back from the 2021 Sturgis Bike rally in South Dakota we decided we would find a place to spend the night instead of trying to push home the last 4-5 hours and get home late at night and disturb my neighbors. We found the Meighen RV park online and called ahead to make sure our 32 foot Rv pulling a 26 foot trailer would be able to fit in a spot. We were assured it would so we stopped for the Night. Glad we did . It has full hookup facilities and free wifi. It's well maintained and surrounded by beautiful country scenery. The owners Pat and Jera Meighen met us at the entrance and showed us to our spot. I had no trouble at all getting our rig in and out. They took the time to show us everything we needed to know and even let us use an extra water hose cause ours was a little to short to reach the hookup due to our rig being so long. They were very helpful and wonderful people. We are glad we stopped and got to meet them . I highly suggest that if you are travelling and in the Waynesburg/Morgantown town area and need a place to stay the night or a couple nights, then Meighen RV park is the place to go. Thanks Jera and Pat for being such gracious host.

I needed a place to stay with my camper while on work. The spots are all extremely nice. The spot we stayed in there was a horse right across he was super sweet. It is extremely secluded and quiet out there. Pat was very kind from day one and his family that helps him maintain the spots were all super kind and helpful. I had needed a 100 pound tank and one of the guys came down and talked to me about where to get nice skirting, as well as brought me his 100 pounder to use while I was there. Thank you all very the nice place to stay! Did I mention he provides WiFi? :) If we are ever back in the area this will definitely be where I stay.

Stayed here in 2020 from August thru end of December. The Meighen's are great hosts, very attentive and accommodating to help get you settled in. After that they check in now and then and keep a good eye on the place. The parking spots are large, the country setting very pleasant, and the place is well kept. I would highly recommend this park for a short stay or long.

Very much Recommended if your staying in the Morgantown, West Virginia area, or Waynesburg, Pennsylvania area.. Mr. Pat is very good to deal with, very understanding on everything. Park has great WiFi service and all gravel spots. So you don’t track in the camper!!
