(October 8, 2019, 5:36 pm)We happened upon this restaurant while exploring and were glad that the renovation work going on at the time did not stop us from entering. The menu offered many tempting choices of somewhat familiar items, but most with a different twist. The interior atmosphere was charming with low beam ceilings and walls covered with period papers. We were very happy to have landed there for lunch.

(October 6, 2019, 2:51 pm)Never had a burger with blueberry jam on it before. Absolutely amazing! The jam really was complimented by the smoked bacon. Burger was cooked perfectly and it was very juicy. Any time I pass through PA I know I'll be coming back!

(September 6, 2019, 9:25 am)The food was very good and plentiful. I lot of great looking items on the menu. The people were friendly. The building is old and they have kept the charm of that on the inside as well as outside. On the outside there were plenty of charming shoppes they were all closed at the hour when we were there so can't say much about them other than most seem to be geared for the ladies.

(August 14, 2019, 9:13 pm)Highly recommend Brickerville House Family Restaurant. It has become a favorite date spot for myself and my girlfriend. I particularly love their Tuesday Night special which is their "Cowboy Chicken". Chicken breast cooked in onions, mushrooms, BBQ sauce, and with two sides. Fantastic meal, and very filling. We have always received top notch service from Brickerville House and we enjoy the decor/setting of the restaurant in a building with so much history.
