  Neat little motel with a restaurant, petting zoo and kids play area. Rooms are small, but include all needed amenities.

  Stayed in the farm house. Victorian styling, very unique, clean enough (few things had aged horribly, like the shower and floor boards), however, considering the age and location, I can offer nothing more than my support. It was a very unique experience, and if you go in without expecting a 5 star super hotel from a major city, you probably won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, I happen to be deathly allergic to animals and the petting zoo was right outside, so I won't be visiting again, due to the fact that I could barely breathe afterwards. However, I still find it to be a unique and interesting experience. The diner and main building were quite unique as well. Will recommend to anyone on a train-themed trip. Will note that I found the light switch for the bathroom to be oddly placed.... Essentially inside the shower... Don't recommend playing with the lights while showering, kind of hurts.

  This is a really fun place to stay and a great value! Petting farm, a silo you can climb and take pictures from, different style caboose to stay in and a restaurant on site. Really enjoying my stay here! The animal pics are from the petting zoo. The shot at night is the steam train across the field firing up for a trip and the farm picture is what I see the moment I open my door and look left. Sunsets are great. The only thing is my caboose is split into 2 rooms and when the people on the other side walk around my room rocks a bit, hah. Next time I'll get one of the full caboose rooms, but I'll definitely stay here again. Clean, cool rooms. Was worried about how warm it would be in winter, but the heat is great! Staff is very friendly. One of the farm cats (clean and advertised) came and visited me twice! I definitely recommend this place especially for families with kids! Definitely look up all the different caboose you can rent.

  Very good experience. Reasonable price. The rooms are clean and nicely renovated. We stayed here two nights and the heaters worked perfectly. It’s also a cool experience to be living in a train. Fits 4 people though it can get a little cramped at times. We also had breakfast which was pretty decent. Wouldn’t recommend the “scrapple” option though for meat. I gave it a try and it had a really strong pork skin taste. But everything else was really good!

  I'm giving this place 5 stars for the novelty-when will you ever get to stay in a real caboose? Our two boys loved it. That being said, it's not a 5 star hotel, its sort of like camping. The inside was tired, but super clean. It smelled fresh when we walked in, huge plus. I believe they are trying to refurbish the cabooses, which is wonderful because this place should be around for a long time. What a fun idea! The restaurant was nice, friendly folks. The animals were cute and we enjoyed the playground. We had healthy expectations about what the cabooses would be like, so we weren't disappointed at all. We will be back to try another caboose, that's for sure! Beautiful location.
