    Excellent service and food. It is a very diverse menu and is as close to home cooking as you can get. The breakfast food is especially my favorite and the kids love the dumplings for lunch. I also recommend the fish for dinner. Better than red lobster and half the price.

    It's a great place. I love the store. There were a 9 in our party and we had to wait 1 hour for a table. That's too long, no place to seat except outside on rockers, too cold for that..

    As always, the service and courtesy is top notch. In addition, most importantly the food in very tasty. While waiting to be seated, there is plenty to see for gift ideas for loved ones and friends.

    My husband has given up on pancakes that are like his grandmothers and never order them at restaurants and stopped making them at home a decade ago. Cracker Barrel is the only place that gets it right.

    Most pancakes are like a sponge. You can pour a bottle of syrup on them and it disappears. Theses have a golden brown skin, that may even have a little crunch on the edges. The butter and syrup sit on top and don’t soak in.

    They also taste like pancakes! Too many places make everything on the same flat-top, so your pancake may taste like bacon or the onion omelette the table next to you ordered.

    The syrup is great too! Real maple syrup blended with sugar cane. Most
    Places use high fructose corn syrup.
    Real butter helps.

    I don’t often write reviews for chain restaurants and rarely eat at them. Even though Cracker Barrel serve the masses, they do a great job!
