Been hiking these trails for 11+ yrs with my faithful companion Sheena. Tho she recently passed away we loved to hike here together. The view is fantastic and lots to enjoy. It's a little noisy from traffic thru the gap, but we'll worth the trip. Bring the family and pets, fun for all. I continue to hike here in honor of Sheena.
It was absolutely amazing great sightseeing and real amazing exercise lots of rocks in lots of hills it just makes it more beautiful hiking and camping is definitely plus and it's all free they also have a cabin with natural springs up on the very top of the mountain
Nice hike. Good view at top. And if adventurous go to devil's pulpit
Nice hike ...Harder then I anticipated but its was beautiful
I go down here to go fishing, its a great spot... You have fast water since the river turns below the bridge, slow water right before the turn, deep channels through the middle, shallows by the islands, even a very deep whole good for cat fishing right where the river turns.. You can go cat fishing, fly fishing, spin fishing.. Just a good time.. Theres a boat launch there too.. Just a good relaxing place.
