Practical self defense and traditional karate. Knowledgeable instructors who all practice what they teach.
I've been going here for about a year. Grand Master Sparks and all of the Masters and Sensei's are awesome! The other students are awesome too work with as well. This is real life self defense and not just working towards competition or metals. You earn everything here and nothing is given to you.
The amount of experience brought by all the instructors is amazing. The best part about it is that everyone is like family here!
Every class we learn something new or practice new techniques to make it more interesting and not boring.
I would definitely recommend coming if you are looking to be able to defend yourself if your ever in a bad situation.
Grand Master Sparks, the sensei's, and the other students are all very welcoming. I've been enjoying the Aiki Jutsu classes because they are practical, designed for all levels, and most of all very welcoming. The environment at Mountaintop Martial Arts is that of a family, and they love bringing new members into their family. They are patient and take student safety very seriously, but don't mistake that for soft. Your muscles will be sore, and what you learn is designed to protect you.
