  I have owned pets my entire life and unfortunately have had to make decisions for my fur babies that have been difficult.. but Dr. Kirchoffer is the best vet and makes taking care of your pets easy! She is an absolute pro! This office is clean, professional and will help you always. If you need a vet go to Rau animal hospital!!! Love them.

  I first came to Rau to care for my cat of many years, when I woke up and she was bleeding. She needed immediate help and other locations wouldn't see her as she hadn't been in care. Rau agreed to see her, she had cancer. I felt the staff were very caring and delivered passionate care for her through her end of life. Having a comfort room to grieve with your loved companion was an experience that I will treasure, along with her paw print. As a first time pet owner, I wasn't aware of the neccessity of regular visits for an indoor pet. Since then we have adopted 2 lovely girls. Both cats are seen and treated with the same compassionate care. Rau's staff are the best.

  I love Rau! They have always been there for me, always made time for my animals when emergency situations crop up. I've had to put pets down; they have a lovely room in which to do it, like a living room. You can take all the time you need to say goodbye. They are compassionate, caring and professional--the doctors and the office staff. It's a 45 minute drive for me but completely worth it. With six pets, I've been to many vets and vet hospitals--Rau is by far and away the best.

  I went to Rau for the first time. I wanted to switch because my aunt went there with her dog and I felt like I needed to find a vet that was closer to home. I am really excited about the switch. My prior vet was good too, but the staff made myself and my dog (Nelly) both feel comfortable during our visit. Nelly wanted to look out the window and they told her she could sit on the bench to do so to keep her calm. They offered her a few treats throughout her visit and were really happy to accommodate her. One thing I liked is that they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of shots and products. She got what she needed and we were on our way.

  I took my cat there for the 1st time yesterday and the doctor, nurses, techs. and front desk staff were all so very kind, caring, helpful, compassionate, and amazing! I've definitely found my permanent vet family! Even the other clients were friendly and kind. Great place-highly recommend.
