I get very nervous about needles and they were very kind about it. Also when I told them where it stick because people usually go there cause it's hard to find my veins normally, they actually listened. Very nice staff
Like everyone else: a great experience here with Liz!
I drove to this Labcorp specifically out of the 3-4 choices that were all pretty much the same distance from me based on it's previous reviews. I was not disappointed and soooo relieved that Liz was working when I arrived! I had to go for my 3-hour prenatal Glucose Tolerance Test, which is a horrible test, if you're familiar. I was worried they wouldn't be able to fit me in or manage the necessary 4 separate blood draws timed out by each hour if they were busy. As soon as I arrived, Liz treated me so well and made sure my testing went smoothly. She was so kind, funny, and assuring throughout the whole process, and had the whole lab looking out for me!
I will 100% go back to only this Labcorp for any future bloodwork or testing. Thank you, Liz! I hope you finally read your glowing reviews like I told you to ;-)
TLDR: Liz is a blood test magician!
Are you an adult terrified to have your blood taken? Does the mere mention of it make you want to implode? Have you been avoiding it for years? Then breathe a sigh of relief because you have FOUND A SOLUTION! Liz is a GODSEND! She will make you believe in magic! I am a 31 year old baby (:P) with a very real and very severe blood test phobia. Since I was a child I have had issues with blood draws for a number of reasons: passing out, very tiny rolling veins, intense bruising etc. I have never had an experience where I was not stuck at least three times, and the older I got, the more difficult it became. I try to take care of my health in every other way, but had avoided going to doctors because I knew they would suggest I get my blood tested. I could not bear to even think about that without slinking up and spiraling into full fledged panic attacks. Recently, I decided I needed to take that extra step for my health and had a physical. I tried to ignore my very loud anxiety when the doctor ordered nine (NINE!?!) tests and worked even harder to pretend I was a person without this phobia as I went to the LabCorp closest to me (Roxborough). It had been over ten years since I had gotten my blood taken, probably because 10+years ago I was stuck seven times and had a traumatic experience. I thought having ten years of wisdom would make the draw easier, but I was wrong and ended up leaving nauseous and defeated without enough blood for any of the tests, having been poked several times. Needless to say I was not looking forward to going back anywhere and did two months of research when I found these amazing reviews for Liz! I called and explained my situation to the kind woman on the phone who cracked up as I asked if Elizabeth still worked there. She was, in fact, Liz! She assured me I came to the right place, and gave me tips for making the test easier. I made an appointment for a few days after and lived in a burning ball of anxiety until I dragged myself 45 mins to my doom. As soon as I walked in I told Liz who I was and the anxiety I had been feeling and she was so sweet, hilarious, and reassuring! She put on some dance music and danced back to the room! By some incredible talent she stuck me only ONCE! And laughed as I nervously screamed/sang through the draw. I asked if it was almost over and she said "Almost over? It is done!" and just like that she took enough blood for 9 tests in record time! I couldn't believe it! I cried! I will never go to anyone else. Liz, if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH AGAIN!! :D You have changed my life!
Had a great experience there today! Liz was fantastic! I told her I get light headed when getting blood work done and she kept conversation going the whole time. I started getting light headed at the very end (I had to fast and had several tests being done) and she got me an ice pack and made sure I was ok before leaving. After going to Phoenixville last time and having a terrible experience, I will be going to this location from now on! Thank you Liz!
I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth and James! Not only are they kind, compassionate, and caring, they are also very skilled! I’ve had A LOT of bloodwork done in my lifetime, but not like this… In comparison to past experiences, I barely felt the needle, blood draw was so fast, and very little bruising. They are fantastic!!!!
