A wonderful, stable and loving environment for young kids!
My husband and I are so thankful we heard from a neighbor about the Hobbit House Preschool at Gwynedd Mercy University. My son started in 2014 when he just turned 3 and is now in his 3rd year attending the Pre-K program. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Hobbit House. The facility is exceptionally clean, bright and cheery; the curriculum is fun (they do several educational field trips), but well focused on preparing children for elementary school. They also encourage the children to become responsible for themselves by following rules with structure, while at the same time promoting socialization and encouraging times of free play. However, what stands out most to me is the excellent staff. They are all so invested in making early learning a positive experience and so passionate about what they do. They truly look at the entire picture (not just academics) and promote healthy, happy children who can take the skills they learn with them throughout their schooling and into adult life. The best endorsement is my son who has grown and progressed tremendously over the last few years. The investment we have made is well worth it to see his smiling face every day when I pick him and hear all about the fun things he got to do and learn at school. In summary, I would highly recommend the Hobbit House to anyone who is considering preschool for their child.
This is by far, the most academically based school for children, that you will ever find. Everyone here is family, whether your child goes here, or your faculty, this is one big family. There is a tremendous amount of love that goes into the children here, that is backed by an education you cannot match.
